Spreadsheet Compare

I created a worksheet in Excel 2013 with several tabs. There are a number of values and formulas we do not want users seeing or playing with. Most of the cells are locked and hidden.
Several of the tabs are hidden and all tabs are protected. When we open up the worksheet we can see and modify only the areas we want users to have access to. Then, I used Spreadsheet Compare on two versions of protected worksheets and found that I could see
basically everything in the hidden cells and tabs. Why does Spreadsheet Compare reveal those locked/hidden/protected cells and tabs? Is there any way to prevent Spreadsheet Compare from showing the values and formulas we do not want others to see? Thank you.

    Thanks for replying Praveen,

    1. Which two versions of Excel sheet are you comparing and which version are you sharing to the users?

I don't think I was clear in my original question. Both worksheets are done in Excel 2013 and using Spreadsheet Compare 2103 to compare them. I am comparing two revisions of the worksheet with both revisions created in Excel 2013. The 2.0 revision is improvements and bug fixes to the 1.0 revision.

    1. How is the Excel file shared?

Users download the files and use them locally. That is why we hide/lock/protect the worksheets. We do not have the ability to have users run excel on servers we control.

    1. Do you have any macros in the sheet?

    No, there are not.
