Scrollbar keeps jumping around

Since I installed the first beta versions of Mac 2016, the scrollbars in Excel behaved strangely. We're now at version 15.16, which supposedly fixes scrolling in Excel, alas on all the Macs where I use Excel 2016 scrollbars won't follow smoothly as I move the sheet vertically or horizontally... but instead stay where they were to then finally jumping to the new position. Why is that so? Or why does it have to be like this? Is this a feature? Or a bug? I don't know.

    Thanks Shane.

All my Macs are affected. And it's not a problem of smoothness (like in the other discussion). In my case, it's the fact that the scrollbar do not move at all while the sheet is being moved up and down or horizontally. The scrollbar only jumps to its new position when releasing the mouse or trackpad. I'm using only Apple rodents, incl. the newest species, Magic Mouse 2.

I just updated office to 15.16 version and it works just fine.

How many systems are affected by this problem? Did you check if this occurs in word?

Try using a different mouse and see if this happens.
