Hi Fathi,

The two SRV records affect the Skype for Business Online service in Office 365. You can refer to the article below for more details.

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Set-up-your-network-for-Skype-for-Business-Online-81fa5e16-418d-4698-a5f0-e666211c5c66#__step_three__test

If you don’t add the two records in your DNS hosting provider, it will block the ability to communicate with external users (Federated and PIC (Public Internet Connectivity)) using Skype for Business.

However, it will not affect the Exchange Online service which means you can configure and use your Office 365 account in Outlook client well.

Regards,

Yang

Hi Fathi,

If the DNS provider doesn’t support SRV records, you might transfer your domain to the supported providers so that some features are available.

Here are the providers that support all required DNS records:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Service-limitations-when-your-DNS-hosting-provider-does-not-support-SRV-CNAME-TXT-or-redirection-7ae9a655-041d-4724-aa92-60392ee390c2#__if_srv_records

Thanks,

Franky
