You could have checked the ControlSource for that label/textbox. Maybe you accidentally changed it.

I create a switchboard using the Switchboard Manager, everything worked and looked great. I closed the database for a couple of hours. When I reopened the database I noticed the Main Switchboard title had change to a different name. I checked the caption field in the property field and it said "Main Switchboard" I checked the table is showed the default to be Main Switchboard. I can not get it to change back to say Main Switchboard... Is there some secret to this? Why did it work and then change.. I am using Access 2016 with Windows 10, is there a glitch somewhere in either of these that allows the change? It is very frustrating to use something designed to be user friendly then turn out like this..

No I scraped it.. Got frustrated with it so I created one from a blank form.. I just can't understand why it didn't work or why it would change the name of the Main Switchboard to the last entry in the main switchboard.
The Switchboard Items table shows correctly, but when you display the Switchboard form the form is haywire? Can you show some screenshots?
The Switchboard Table..
I checked the table is showed the default to be Main Switchboard.
What table are you talking about?
