Error when installing Office 2016

When installing Office 2016 I get the following message:

Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):  this product requires Mircosoft .Net Framework 4.5.  Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup.

I downloaded Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5 and installed and got the message that it was already installed on my computer.  I am in dire need to get this corrected. 

Please Help!!

    Hi Gloria,

    Welcome and thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Office Community.

    As per your issue, if Windows 10 is installed it should meet Office 2016 requirements. You can refer to the below thread which discusses about the same issue and check:
