Custom Graph Template cannot be applied

I created a template of a graph in Excel 2013, it is saved on the c drive as a CRTX file.  When I go to apply the template to another graph/chart, I get the error message - "The template cannot be applied. It's either damaged or won't work for your your selected chart. Please try recreating it."

I have tried re-reating it several time - however it still does not work. Can you please advise?

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Well it seems that the templates are damaged.

Let us manually uninstall office 2013 by removing the templates folder from %appdata%

And then reinstall the office 2013, by logging into “My account page” www.office.com/myaccount
