How do I effectively delete duplicate fonts?

Split from this thread.

I got stuck at the font weeding as the "caution" fonts keep reappearing after I mark them and delete them. They are generally what appear to be duplicates, but I can't seem to lose them.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    After deleting the duplicate fonts, Got a blank Word doc to open for a couple of seconds and then this message popped up (I was so hopeful) and closed the whole thing:

    An unexpected error has occurred

    (ValueError: NSInvalidArgumentException - + [SIMBL InstallPlugins]: unrecognized selector sent to class Ox48be160)
