Adding a bleed margin when saving Word 2016 as a pdf

Hi...I want to add a 3mm bleed margin (and crop marks) to a word document when I convert it to a pdf. Short of adding 6mm to my page sizes I can't see how else to do it. Any suggestions. Cheers.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I need more information before we proceed.

  1. How you are adding bleed margins in word documents?
  2. Have you made any changes when converting the document to pdf?

You may refer the thread which discuses about theĀ  crop marks in word.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office\_2013\_release-word/user-crop-marks-how-to-set-them/d27041d8-61ab-4d06-a99d-e1280a1d16cc

Hope it helps. If you need any further assistance related to this issue, reply and we will be glad to assist you.

Thank you.

    Hi. Thanks for the reply.

Re your first point - I want to know how to add bleed margins....I am not already doing it.

Re your second point - I don't get the option to make changes, such as adding crop marks or bleed margins when "printing" or exporting to a pdf. Just the usual printing set-up options, like which pages etc.

I've been through the advanced word options but there's nothing in the printing section which allows for these changes to be made.

Is there any way to do it?

    Cheers
