Concatenate in table header

Hi.  What should be a simple solution is turning out to be a head-scratcher and quite frustrating.

I have a range, formatted as a table (using the Excel feature), that will not seem to allow me to concatenate in the table header.  One cell (different sheet) will have the month entered, which I want to concatenate with text in the table header cell.  Every time I try to join the information, the table header changes to a "0".

Concatenation is easy with regular cells, I have just never had to try to do this in a table and am puzzled why it doesn't either error or return the expected results.

I appreciate any help or insight.

Hi Scott

Column headers are Field Names and therefore are static text. Only way around would be to uncheck 'Header Row' under Design tab. You can enter a formula in the first row but will lose functionality of the Table Headers [Filed Names].

Thank you for the information.  Althoughy I wanted to keep the headers, it helped to realize that was creating the problem.  Thank you.
