Excel for Mac 2016: Function argument box

When inserting formulas, you get a Function Argument box. However, this is not the case with the Mac version, or at least I haven't found it. Is there a Function Argument box on the Mac version? If so, where is it?  If not, how do I work around the fact that there isn't one?

Thank you.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. When you type an equal sign and then a function (or part thereof) in the formula bar, you get a list of functions. When you type the left paren, you get a list of arguments for the function.

You're right. The function argument box appears in earlier PC versions of Excel and showed up in a course I'm taking. After posting my question, I was able to do my homework assignment just fine without the box. Thanks for responding.
