Hello!

How can I get OneNote 2016 to recognise my hand writing better?

I am using a surface Pro 4 and accompanying pen.

I use a lot of abbreviations in my work and it having some difficulties with them on top of my terrible hand writing.

Please see the below example of my terrible writing and the ink to text result.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say.

Yes I agree OneNote is quite good, that's why I want to use it, however that does not help me improve the way it reads my handwriting or, recognise and not auto correct abbreviations.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We tried to repro the issue and found that we need to be as clear as we could to make OneNote clearly read and understand your handwriting to convert it to text.

In the screen shot, you’d also find that the number of errors are very little, which means that OneNote is able to convert ink to text in an appropriate way.

Hope this information helps you. Please let us know if you need additional information.

    Thank you.
