    Hi Daniel,

I’m a little confused about the situation here. From the PM you provided, it mentioned that you de-select the attribute in the on-premises AD connector, which is what I think why the attribute is not syncing.

If you want to sync the attribute, can you please select the attribute in the connector, then check if it can be synced. Note if you just want to sync the attribute for some of the groups, currently it’s not feasible to do that.

Or if I’ve made any misunderstanding, please kindly correct me and provide more details so that we can provide further assistance.

    Hi,

The problem is that we want the AUTHORIG attribute to be synced. We need to limit acces to some distribution lists.

    Thanks

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for providing the information, now I understand the issue better.

Regarding the issue, if you don’t want to sync the attributes at the moment and no other sync issues between the on-premises and Office 365, please kindly ignore the error and we can leave the attribute un-synced for the time being. Your understanding is appreciated.

    Hi Daniel,

Usually, the attribute authOrig should be synced to Office 365 via DirSync/AAD Sync/AAD Connect. To understand the issue more clearly, can you please provide the following information?

    1. Do you mean only some of the users are not synced or all the users encounter the specific issue?
    2. For “Do i need to enable the attribute in Azure AD sync”, do you mean you have disabled these attributes in the on-premises somehow?
    3. Which sync tool you’re using currently, DirSync, AAD Sync or AAD Connect?
    4. When you log into the sync server, do you see any sync related error messages on the event log viewer? If so, can you please provide the entire error logs here for checking?
    5. Does the issue only occur to the users existed in the OU, or it also happens on the newly created users in the OU?
