Office 16 Install

I have (had) a registered copy of Office 15 and wanted to update to 16.  Download and saved the ISO file (all I could find).  Ran Setup for 64 bit, but it wouldn't install, 15 was still working.  selected the 32 bit version and it installed upto 97% and then did nothing.  Left it overnight, in the AM there was no HD activity and the install was at the same place.  Closed the installer through Task Manager and rebooted the machine.  Tried again yesterday and the only difference is that it is now stalled at 95%, which is where it is sitting.

Running fully updated Win10 64 bit.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated as Office 15 won't run either.

Regards,

Kerry J.

So then the file en_office_professional_plus_2016_x86_x64_dvd_6962141.iso that I downloaded was misnamed.

Also if you purchase a one year licence to Office 15 5 pack, you can update to the new version any time you want before your annual renewal.

There is no Office 2016 ISO

Only Office 365/2013 can be freely updated to 365/2016

If you have the 2013 lifetime license version, to upgrade to 2016 you have to purchase 2016

And why are you installing 64bit office?
