Excel CSV formatting issue

I'm on Ms Office 2016 for Mac.

I have an application I use for email marketing. This app allows to export database/records we use into CSV file format. By exporting databases e proper CSV file is created as supposed to.

The problem is when opening the file, because Excel populate all information supposed to show under different columns into one single column, messing up all information and making the file unusable.

Funny part is that opening the same CSV file using Excel on other machines will show all information under multiple columns, as supposed to be. On my Mac instead format is all messed up.

Do you know what might be?

To import a csv file and activate the wizard at the same time use the Data tab of the Ribbon and choose From Text

To convert a single column into multiple columns, select the column having data, then from the Data menu choose Text to Columns.

Try the Following and see If this Expands everything to proper width:

    1. Locate the button (close to the Formula bar) that has Icon of of Right triangle.

(screenshot made with SnapNDrag had added the black outline). 2. This selects the entire Spreadsheet. 3. Go to Format Menu. 4. Click on Column Width. 5. Click on Autofit selection.

The column width open to maximum width of contents in any one cell in that column. (Whichever is widest.)
