MS Word Nested Tables

Hi Community,

Interested to know why when nesting a table, the inside table seems to be missing either a top or bottom border even when I've applied a margin around it. Yet, when I zoom in, it is displayed. Can someone please explain this?

Thanks in advance.

    Josh,

I see the same effect here, when pasting as a nested table, but only the bottom border is missing. When I first paste the table everything is alright, when I click in another cell the bottom border vanishes.

Seems the add row icon is causing this, the print preview shows it correctly.

    Hi Doug,

The outside table margins have been set but the inside table is missing the top and bottom border. Kindly note that this table has been pasted into the outside cell using the paste as nested table function.

    Thank you.

That's not my experience.  Is the cell margins of the outer table that you are setting.
