Visio Save As PDF Functionality Missing in Visio 2010 for Windows 7

I experienced a crash in Visio 2010 while attempting to print a flowchart to PDF using the Save As PDF command on the File menu. When Visio recovered, the Save As PDF command was gone, as well as the PDF tab that gave me access to the PDF ribbon where I had installed the Publish to PDF command.

I went to File > Visio Options > Customize Ribbon and selected Reset > Reset all customizations to see if I could get the PDF ribbon to reappear, but it did not reappear. I can still print to PDF using the File > Save As > Save as type > PDF command, but I would like the PDF ribbon and the Save As PDF command on the File menu back. Does anyone know how to return Visio to its normal configuration so I can see these options? Thanks.

Best wishes,

Tony

    Hi,

Did you install the PDF maker add-in for Visio? If yes, you need to enable the add-in with this path: File > Visio Options>Add-ins.

If you were saying the build-in save as PDF feature, it was not showed in  Ribbon as default.

If I misunderstood something, please feel free let me know.

    Regards,
