Android or IPAD Office and embedded objects

Hi support,

I have both and Android and IPAD Tablets. All loaded with the latest version of Microsoft Office for tablets.

I created a file on my Windows Laptop running Office 2013. I used Word 2013 and embedded an excel file within the word document.

On the Windows Laptop or any other Windows based machine with full version of Office 2007/2010/2013, I can easily open the word document and then I see the embedded Excel Icon. Double clicking on the icon, Excel opens perfectly and I see all contents of what was put into the file, etc.

Trying the very same document on either the IPAD or the Android Tablets does not work. The word document opens perfectly, however the embedded excel icon is shown, but you cannot touch or click on the file to open the file.

Does Microsoft Office for tablets support the opening of embedded files? If it does, how do I open the file? If it does not, when will this be fixed?

PS I have tried multiple ways of embedding the files within themselves by clicking the "Insert Object" within word and all fail.
