Excel 2013 - Cell Multiple Selection

Normally, in Microsoft products, [Ctrl+MouseClick] means multiple selection.

However, in Excel 2013 (Office 365), when using [Ctrl+MouseClick], if a cell is selected several times, it will be rendered darker.

===Environment===

OS: Windows 8.1 Chinese Language

Office: Office 365 ProPlus, Version 15.0.4727.1003

===Reproduce===

  1. Select an area in Excel

  1. Ctrl + Click to select several cells in the area. The more you click, the darker the cells present.

3. Ctrl + Click to select random cells, same behavior.

So is it a new feature or defect in Office 2013?
