    Good point Bob.

I'm also having Err 0xE00001BB syncing issues, and I used one of the suggested workarounds to salvage my work; but it was only one section I had to re-create and copy, not an entire notebook, and I've only really been using OneNote seriously for a few months. If I had to copy & recreate an entire notebook, I think I'd just give up.

Too often, many of the so-called solutions offered here are trite and ill-informed. They may work, but as you say, it's a sledgehammer approach when what we need is a bit more technical insight & precision. Isn't it time Microsoft stopped relying on 'communities' of well-intentioned amateurs and started providing its subscribers with a proper technical support system?

My mother's gas boiler recently developed a minor problem: imagine the outcome if I'd tried to fix it the Microsoft way?

    Hi,

Since the page on the particular OneNote Notebook is corrupted, you may create a new Notebook and copy the contents to the newly created notebook from the corrupted notebook and sync it.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any queries.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Take a backup of all notebooks saved on all the locations, delete it from Onedrive, upload it again and then verify the results.

    Office installation must be corrupted.

If the issue still persists, Repair Office 2010 and check if it helps.

Hope it helps. Try the suggestions and let me know for further assistance.

    Thank you.

This answer sounds very much like "Reinstall Windows". It is using a sledge hammer when a scalpel is needed.
