Error Code '1100009'

Hi there,

I have been doing a lot of college work lately and just found that one of my publisher files wont open, this is very frustrating as the work on that file was near completion and now i will have to throw hours of work down the drain.

When i tried to open the file it gave me an error code of '1100009' when i pressed ctrl, shift + I. The original message when opening the file was "publisher cannot open the file".

I read about hot fixes and the like online, however they are all for older versions of publisher, i am receiving the error in publisher 2013.

Please can someone tell me of a fix available, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

This is not something that a program update would cure. From your message, it sounds like you may have already read this page, but is the best guide available to troubleshooting corrupt documents in Publisher. Some steps have different names in 2013: Troubleshoot Damaged Publisher Document

This page is specific to documents containing OLE objects like embedded Excel, Word or PowerPoint files: Publisher Cannot Open the File

If you can't recover the document, here's how you can at least recover some data from it: Recover Data from Corrupt Publisher Document
