hindi front not working

So what exactly is your problem?  What font?  What characters?  What keyboard layout?  What version of Word?

Without such info nobody could possibly help you.

(If you are using Word 2011, there is no point, it does not support Hindi, you must use Word 2016)

You should have no problem typing Hindi in Word 2016 if you have the Devanagari Qwerty flag showing at the top right of the screen and the Kohinoor font selected.  What exactly is your situation and what is happening when you type?

PS MS Word has never officially supported Indic or SE Asian languages or Arabic/Hebrew, but I think Hindi can work in 2016 with the right font.  If not, most other apps should work fine:  TextEdit, Pages, Nisus, LibraOffice.

I've encoutered the same problem as bisnubasnet did. Just choosing Devanagari-QWERTY keyboard and the Kohinoor font doesn't help. For example, if I try to type the word "sarpa", i.e. "sa", "ra"+Virama to get the "rp"-ligature, and then "pa", Word leaves me with a "sa" and an anteceding Virama. On TextEdit for example, this problem doesn't occur. I've not tested whether using a different gives better results.
