Track Changes returning after accepting

I have a document with several changes that I want to show when printing. It has one change I do no want to show. I have accepted the change I do not want to show, but when I print, the change shows up again and prints. I have searched for an answer and can't seem to find it. I have unclicked the Privacy Option to "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving" but that did not help. Any help will be gladly accepted. My boss needs this documents ASAP (of course).

Thank you for your prompt reply, however, this is not working for me. As I said in my first post, I have accepted the change. I accept it, it goes away, I go to "Print Preview" the change shows up again.  I tried it again this morning with the same result.

Edited to add: Further research has pointed me to the common problem being with links. This is only happening on a change involving a bookmark and a linked TOC. Does that shed a different light on it? And these are two different documents. I am at my wits end!

Can you save other settings, such as adding or removing text? In other words, is the save problem limited to accepted changes?

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to share it. I will see if I can do a workaround for this document. In the meantime, I will see if I have the same trouble with a different document that is not confidential. Thank you.

Are you allowed to share the document? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox, make it public and post a link in this thread.

The following should do the trick: Select the tracked change that you want to accept and, on the Review tab, click the arrow on the Accept button and then click Accept This Change.
