Lost PowerPoint Notes

Question

Hi!

I have been working on a PowerPoint presentation for the past two days. Today, the program crashed without me saving it. When I restarted it, it offered me 2 documents, one was the original from about a day ago, and the other was a so called "autosave" version of my work. This version, although it looked similar to my lost work, was missing all of the notes (the most important part of my work) in it and I cannot seem to recover it no matter what I try.

Any chance you can help me?

Same issue.  After PowerPoint shut down and restarted, the program gave me two choices of files to use.  Neither one of them had my notes.  This is the second time it has happened.  Is Office 365 really worth the cost?

I just had the same issue this weekend.  I've tried everything to recover a better file and find the notes, but nothing has worked!  Please help!

Hi,

I have the same problem, I can recover the file with the latest version of the presentation BUT the notes have not been saved
