F5 on Surface Pro 3

I just got a Surface Pro 3 and I've discovered something that is kind of annoying.  I use PowerPoint all the time, and the button to start the slide show is F5.  However, on the Surface, F5 brings up the search bar.  How do I disable the search bar shortcut, or possibly reassign new hotkeys?
