When I Copy/Paste into a spreadsheet (Excel 2013 64bit) I got a warning "There's already data here. do you want to replace it?"......... I answer the question and then it pastes into one row only.

If I want to paste into a hundred rows, I am asked the question a hundred times.

I've never come across this before, and don't want to come across it again......Can I switch it off ?

Thanks for trying, but it didn't make any difference.

I have managed to replicate the problem on a blank spreadsheet. The problem seems to be something to do with merged cells.

Merge cells A1&B1 then do the same for a few rows below that (say 5 rows)

Enter some data into the merged cell A1:B1 then more data into a few columns afterwards C1,D1 & E1

Drag the data down to the 5 rows below. It should fill in OK

Now go back to the original row of data. Copy it

Cover cells A2:A5 below with your cursor. Paste to it

The message "There's already data here. Do you want to replace it?" appears.

If you say yes, it then pastes into the 1st row only.

To paste into all of the rows, you have to paste them one row at a time, answering the question every time.

(Note: Leaving now, back on Tuesday)
