Microsoft Access 2010-- Operation Invalid without a current Index? When I attempt to create a new database?

I cannot create a new database. I receive the following error.

"Operation Invalid without a current Index?"

Help!!!! Any suggestions????

    That is very unusual.

    I would start with repairing Office (Control Panel > Programs and Settings > Office 2010 > Repair).
