PPT doc changes format when opened with different computer

My boss and I have the same version of PowerPoint (2010), but when he opens the presentation that I've cleaned up, some of the formatting (mostly text boxes) looks messed up on his screen.  The text wraps and then causes other formatting issues (lines I've inserted between text boxes are not in the right place).  We're using a client template (which we've used a year ago and never seemed to have this issue).  I thought maybe he didn't have the right font loaded that the template uses, but he does.  What would cause this to happen?  Is it a PowerPoint issue or something else?

How have you determined that he has the correct font loaded?

Have him open the presentation and choose the Home tab, then click the downward pointing arrowhead next to Replace and choose Replace Fonts.

Open the upper listbox; verify that there's a TT icon next to each of the fonts.  Any font with a question mark icon is missing, not installed on his system and is likely to be the root of the problem.

If any fonts have printer icons next to them, that could also be a problem.
