How to plot XY Scatter Graph points horizontally on Bar Graph?

I would like to create a horizontal bar graph using the following table, with the fields "Build Days" as a horizontal bar and "Target Days" as a point.

Build Days Target Days
Server1 10 12
Server2 15 12
Server3 12 10

So far I have only been able to create a vertical representation of this using a column chart.

Problem is I can't get the Target Days points to plot horizontally. The XY Scatter Graph only seems to plot vertically.

Am I missing something or is there a way to "rotate" how the XY Scatter Graph plots? Or - is there a way to just rotate the column graph 90 degrees?

Thanks in advance.

You have to make the category axis based on values 1, 2, 3.

When you change the chart type for Target Days to XY Scatter, switch the X-values and Y-values.

Then make the secondary vertical axis run from 0.5 to 3.5 to match the layout of the primary vertical axis.

Finally, delete the secondary vertical axis.

Thanks much. Took me a while to figure out that "Server 1, 2, 3" were customized formatted cells...

I guess this can't be very dynamic then, if I had to use an imported list of servers that constantly varied in quantities and random names (no sequential numbers). The secondary axis needs to be reset to 0.5 up to [n-servers].5 every time I create the graph?

This works though. Thanks very much for the lesson. I think Excel could/should be enhanced to allow vertical plotting of lines and scatter graphs which would make this more flexible.
