Office 2016 - Installer Customization

I just download "Office Professional Plus 2016 (x86 and x64) - DVD (English)" from my msdn subscription. While installing it didn't ask me to customize like its previous versions. It installed all the components like word, excel, access, publisher etc. How I can custom install it?

I have the same problem. It really sucks that you cannot choose what to install and where to install it like any other ordinary setup experience would. I uninstalled and went back to 2013. This was a terrible release Microsoft!

Download a separate deployment tool setup, create/edit XML file and start a program with command arguments...just to get a custom install of MS Office. Where is "ease of use"?

    Anyway, Thanks for the tip.

Apparently you need to modify the click to run using the office deployment tool

    Man what a PITA!

As for 32 vs 64 extract or mount the dvd iso and browse to the office folder ,should be a setup64 or setup32.

Same. I had a custom install for 2013, however for 2016 everything is installed by default. I dont care for OneDrive for business and publisher. I dont want them installed on my system.
