Error code with Word 2016

I have a problem with Microsoft Word 2016.

I don't understand what the issue is, because when I used it before, it worked fine. I shut down my computer yesterday, just turned it on today and wanted to go back to word (different document) and an error message keeps comming up saying for following:

"We're sorry but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working corectly. Word will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now?"

So I click on "Repair now" which makes that message go away, but does absolutly nothing else.

The other options are "Help" which takes me to the forums which hasn;t helped, or "close".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing changes, the message still keeps coming up.

I've tried to open other Word docs I have - as I have many, because Word worked fine before - and I get the same message. I have tried to open a brand new document, and I get the same message.

Does anyone know what I can do to get Word to work again? Its really important, thank you!

See the Article “Why do I get a "stopped working message when I start my Office application at:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/why-cant-i-start-my-office-2013-application-HA104011864.aspx

    Or

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3091375

If that does not help, then you might remove all traces of the Office installation by downloading the fixit from the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

saving it to your computer and then running it.

Then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and click Install Office.

BEFORE REMOVING THE OFFICE INSTALLATION,  MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND THAT OFFICE IS ASSOCIATED WITH IT!

If you actually have Office (locally installed) rather than the subscription version provided through Office 365, then you can't get Office through your Microsoft Account. Instead, see
