Pay ahead?

Can a person pay ahead for an active office 365 subscription or is it absolutely mandatory to wait until it is expiring to pay again. I might like to pay 6 months ahead of time on my yearly paid subscription, just to get it over with.

Hi Bill,

That is absolutely no problem.

For example, if you have 6 months left of your current subscription - and you choose to purchase a renewal through Microsoft Store - your current subscription and your next billing date would be extended with an additional year, meaning you won't need to think about it for another 1,5 years.

You can stack up to 5 years of Office 365 on your account at any given time.

You will find more info about this, and other frequently asked questions, in the Office 365 FAQ on Microsoft Store.
