I'm trying to create a marco that pulls information off the web. However every time I click on the get data from web I can't even interact with it because I get a script error and every time I close it (doesn't matter how I close it) the same exact error message pops up instantly. The default page it goes to is yahoo which I think is standard, but I'm not sure. How can I surprises this message, so I can navigate to where I want to go, or maybe change the default page to something like google which has a lot less going on and less likely to encounter errors (at least I would think).

I tried it out with my personal computer and while I still get an error message it only pops up once so I can get to where I need to go. So it seems to have worked, but I still need to try it on my work CPU. Thanks for the help, this thing was really making me mad. Cheers

    Hi Robert,

Try disabling the script warnings. Script error messages are displayed by web browsers when there is a problem with the JavaScript or VBScript code on the website you are trying to viewing. To disable script warming, follow these steps:

    a.      Open Windows key + R and type inetcpl.cpl and press OK.

    b.      On the Internet Options windows, click on Advanced.

    c.       Check "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)" and uncheck "Display a notification about every script error."

    d.      Click on OK.  Now, check for the issue.

If the above steps doesn’t help, post your query in the below TechNet forum for better suggestions.

Hope this information helps. Reply with the updated status of the issue. We will be happy to help.

    Thank you.
