User can't edit native 365 groups he owns from MS Outlook 365

Azure AD Connect from on-prem AD to Azure AD, non-hybrid, password-writeback.
User was synced from the local AD and added as owner to several native O365 groups but cannot edit them from desktop Outlook 365.
Got error:
"Changes to the public group membership cannot be saved. You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this operation on this object":

    Hi @Allan Stark ,

    Actually, we couldn't edit the Microsoft 365 group in Outlook Address book , which has been stated in the official document.

    So in this case, we need to add the user as a member of group and manage the membership via Group Ribbon in Outlook as the document mentioned.
