Adding floating notes to a word document

Word documents are shared with different people in my organization and it would be nice to have non-printing floating notes that can be on/attached to the document as reminders, instructions, etc., to others using the document.

You could add comments to the document. See the Review tab.

Alternatively, you might consider the Show or hide instructions & graphics at print timetopic in my Microsoft Word Date Calculation Tutorial, which you can download from
