Remove (blank) from pivot table

I have Excel 2013.

How do I remove the text (blank) from all of my cells that do not have any data in it so my pivot table looks nicer. I have tried going into Pivot Table Options, Layout and Format and checking 'For Empty Cell Row' then placing a - in the box but this does not work.

    Hi,

Where is the word Blank appearing in your Pivot Table image?  I do not see it.  Upload your workbook to OneDrive and share the download link here.

    Hi,

In that case, just type any text over the word Blank.

Ashish, if I filter and uncheck the "blank" box, it removes rows that have data in it. So, filtering will not work.

    Hi,

I think that setting applies only to the numbers in the value area section of the Pivot Table.  To remove the word Blank from the row or column labels, use Filter.
