ACCESS 2016 subform wizard doesn't show tables/queries but forms only

I've attempted several computers with Office 2016 Prof. (64-bit) installed for ACCESS subform wizard.  I notice that "Use existing  Tables/Queries" always show Forms object files only as shown below no matter in new created database or existing database.  Does Microsoft have services patches for its defective products?

I was able to reproduce this in Access 2016 32 bit. I've never used that part of the subform wizard. I've always created my subforms as a named form first then used the existing form option.

Microsoft is constantly issuing patches for its products. They are not defective, every software product has bugs. I've never seen this one reported before. I would suggest reporting it at access.uservoice.com. But frankly, I doubt if this will be given much priority.

I just checked using Access 2010 and the same behavior exists there. So this bug has existed for a very long time. As I said, this apparently has not been an issue before because I have never seen it reported or asked about before. There are a number of bugs in programs that don't really affect operation because there are other ways to do things. In this case, rather than using the wizard one can simply drag a table from the Nav pane and drop it into a form. The wizard will open at the part where you select the Parent/Child fields.

While I have reported other bugs to the Access Dev Team when reported by a user, I'm not going to bother them with this one. It is just too minor an issue (IMHO) and there are viable workarounds for them to waste time on it. But if you feel strongly about it, feel free to report it at access.uservoice.com.

This is not a bug, just a rather confusing design of the wizard dialogues.  The list of forms relates only to the 'use an existing form' option.  If you select the 'use existing tables and queries' option and then click Next the ensuing dialogue does list all tables and queries.
