Excel Pivot Table Display Dates in Part English and Part in Chinese after changing to Proplus (English version)

Hi, i am getting crazy after changing the Proplus in Eng (Version). The pivot table's time intelligence shows the dates in part English and Chinese for all my working files.  I couldn't get rid of the Chinese characters by formatting.

I have also change the language settings with Excel into Eng. Yet, notthing happen to undo the changes. Please kinldy offer help.

    Hi Anthony,

    Based on your description, please try the steps below:

    1. Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region and Language. Check whether your Format is English.

    1. You can change the format by right clicking the cell, click Format Cells, in Locale dropdown menu, select the location you want then choose the Type.

    If the issue persists, please share the screenshot of your Excel version and the example file with us via Private Message.

    To check your Excel version, please go to File > Account.

    I thought i replied to your message already.

    Yes, it work fine now. The dates got back to normal. They are all displayed in English

    Just that i cannot understand, why I need to change the settings on both the control panel and that of the Excel
