Automatic Repair Loop

So I really know nothing about computers and the command prompts. There are only a couple things I’d like to still have from my PC; pictures and the music I’ve made, the rest doesn’t really matter.

When booting up it says Automatic repair cannot repair my PC, “Log file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt. I goto advanced options.
I don’t have a restore point. I get an error when I reset PC and keep files. Windows runs into a problem when I try to uninstall most recent update. I have a fresh copy of windows on a flash drive and when I try to use UEFI it says that I have to delete the old windows.

I watched a video about it and ran command prompts. chkdsk /f /r C: ran it for a couple hours and then tried to config backup. It said there was already a backup/BBI, and asked if I’d like to over ride that backup.

I don’t know what to do. Are there any ways I can get the files? Can I buy an external hard drive and boot? I just don’t want to lose the things I can never get back if I blow everything away. Please help :)

May be able to get a SATA / USB cradle. You'll need to open it up to check what disk type is. Then use another pc to harvest files, put the disk back in and clean install the operating system.

In order to keep your files, please insert the hard disk into another computer, then copy your important files into a safe please.
Next, insert back this hard disk and use your fresh copy to clean install Windows.
    Finally, copy back your files.
Your command chkdsk /f /r C: will not backup the disk or volume, it is just a Fixing disk errors command, Chkdsk corrects disk errors only if you specify the /f command-line option. Chkdsk must be able to lock the drive to correct errors. Because repairs usually change a disk's file allocation table and sometimes cause a loss of data, chkdsk sends a confirmation message.

Do you need help saving files or reinstalling Windows?

Or do you need help with the automatic repair loop with srttrail?

It would have been best to attach these additional tags:

    windows-10-general
    windows-10-hardware-performance

    Help can be provided.

Indicate the computer make/model, whether you have a new bootable windows 10 iso and a flash drive that you can format.
