Hi,

I was wondering whether it was possible to create a graph with 5 variables.

I have this table and unfortunately have been asked to produce this graphically.

I was visualising something like:

is this possible in Excel?

If not, can it be done if you eliminate one variable ?

thanks for the help!

    Hi,

Let us open Excel spreadsheet. Let us type a header in one of the columns in the worksheet (first variable) and the appropriate data in the rows below the column.

Similarly, Type a header in the column to the right of the first. (Second variable) and the appropriate data in the rows below the column header.

Then Press and hold the mouse in the top left column header and drag it down to select the entire table.

Click on the "Insert" tab on the ribbon, and click "Recommended Charts" in the Charts group to open the Insert Chart dialog box, then select the type of chart you want and click "OK."

Hope this information helps you. Please let us know if you need additional information.

    Thank you.

    Hi Harsha,

    thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I have office 2010 and the 2010 edition of excel doesn't appear to support this functionality.

I may be wrong but i believe it was introduced post 2013?

    thanks,

    Nathan
