Visio 2016 Copy and Paste Issues between different visio document

I am running Visio 2016. Visio has always had a feature where if you select an item and press "ctrl + c" and then go to a different page and press "ctrl + v" the item will paste in the exact same location it was in on the previous page. I have different Visio  document of same page size for the two Visio document. But "ctrl + v" is paste on different position and I cannot duplicate the drawing across document.

    Hi Sun,

        I found that if the two drawings are in the same windows they can be at the same place. But if you open the two different windows. the position will be different.

    Hi Sun,

        I have tried both way. But i still not at the same position for the two different file. And my version is 16.0.4456.1003.

    Hi Thomasysl,

    I tested in my environment and "Ctrl + V" works properly in my Visio 2016 (Build 16.0.7668.7076):

    Would you please check the build number of Visio 2016 via File > Account?

    Just to be sure, have you made any changes to your system or your Office after which you observed this change in behavior of Paste?

    Besides, please check if the Paste button on the ribbon can paste to the original location as expected.
