Access Did Not Install

Hello all,

I've very recently purchased and installed MS Office 365 Home. My issue is that it installed everything except for Access 2016. Is this just an installation error or is there another way to install this for Windows 10? I've tried multiple times to run the installer. Each time, it would tell me that installation is complete and that I can find all the apps on the Start Menu but Access is nowhere to be found. I've even tried searching for it everywhere in my computer.

I have a brand new Lenovo Yoga 710 with Windows 10 if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need this for school. Thank you in advance!

    Hi Tom,

I forgot to mention, I tried that as well. Even though I literally just downloaded and installed 365 home 4 hours ago. It always said that I am up to date. Is there any other way?

    Well, I have a suggestion....

Go here (https://products.office.com/en-us/office-365-home ) and in the pop-up that says how can I help ask there because Access should come with your install.  Side note, you cannot download individually, you must install the entire desktop Office Suite.

    Hellon Gina,

Yes I have. Multiple times, actually. Microsoft states that you canot download individual applications that come with the 365 suite but you can delete them from your PC one by one. The only way I can download it alone is to pay for a separate stand-alone Access 2016 which would be ridiculous for me to do since I have already paid for 365 Home which should come with Access 2016.

I also attempted to update 365 in hopes of the update downloading Access 2016 with it. Of course, it would tell me each time that I am up to date. After all, I had just downloaded it less than 24 hours ago.

Have you tried logging into your Account online and seeing if it's there to be downloaded?  (This might be because Access is actually a Desktop product and may have to be downloaded separately... just a thought.)

Access is a recent addition to some Office 365 plans. Open any Office product, then File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
