Sub Report data not showing

Hi

I have managed to insert a subreport on the main invoice , sometimes the data does not show up in the subreport , sometimes it does after setting allow data edit to NO in the report properties.

(1) Are there more settings I have to do in the report properties to avoid try and error?

(2) To select the invoice to print do I have also to create un bound form with parameter and then link it to the query that drives the main invoice since the subreport is linked to the main invoice via the invoice ID?

Regards

Chris

If your reports are correctly built and linked, then you should not have to set ANY properties in order for that subreport to show data. Of course, this assumes that your tables are setup correctly, but we can't know that without more information.

Allow Data Edit has no bearing on REports, since you cannot edit data in a report.

You don't have to create any additional queries to Print a Report. When you open that report, you should be seeing the Print ribbon, which allows you control over that process.
