I am looking to autoplay video in Sway. I have tried adding the ?autoplay=1 to the embed code to no avail.  Has anyone else experience this?  I am also looking for the content to play in full screen and stop playing automatically when embedded in another program (Versal) without having to hit esc? Any help is appreciated.

The code you have mentioned should work for YouTube videos.  However, there is a catch:  it will only work on Embed cards, not on Video cards.  As soon as you commit the embed code, the card will automatically convert to a Video card.  If you want it to remain an Embed card, as soon as it converts, press the Undo button to turn it back into an Embed card.  That should allow autoplay to work.

Full screen is one of the controls that the user will be able to click on the video player.

You will not be able to add any logic about when it should and should not play based on the embed state.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks Jason - the step by step was very helpful for a "non-skilled" user.

A couple of other things - I am embeding a Sway in a program called Versal.  Two questions:

    1. Is there any way for the Sway to autoplay in full screen?
    2. I am running into an issue when they sway finishes playing - the viewer (in this case a learner) would have to press escape to get out of the sway and move to the next screen - is there any way for it to automatically exit.

Additionally, if they are viewing on their phone there is no way to exit and move forward as there is no esc key and thus they can't move through the rest of the presentation

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Here are the steps:

    1. On youtube.com, get the iframe embed code
    2. In Sway, insert an embed card
    3. Paste the iframe embed code into the card
    4. At the end of the src property value (inside the ") add ?autoplay=1
    5. Click outside of the embed card so that it commits and converts to a video card
    6. Click undo to change it back to an embed card

Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

Still don't seem to be able to do this. I right click on video to get embed code and then paste it somewhere for editing - I don't see that it "changes" or that there is anything to undo to??
