Office Lens Problems

I currently have Office Lens installed on my Microsoft Lumia 950 XL phone, running Windows 10.  The application has been of great assistance in my quest to live in a paperless work environment.

When I try to use the application, I receive the following error message:  “Something went wrong. The image could not be read or processed. Please delete image and try again.”

Deleting the image and trying again had no effect.  The same error occurred.

The error occurs regardless of mode (photo, document etc.).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application but the error still persists.

    Thank you for the response.

    I actually considered doing a hard reset.  I guess I was hoping to find a solution that would not require met to go through the whole process of setting up my applications on the phone again.

    I am not in the position to the reset right now.  I hope to be able to do it later this week.  I will let you know whether it solved the issue.

    Thanks for the response!

    The phone was connected to the WiFi when I experienced the problem.

    I restarted the phone, but the issue persisted. 

    However, after restart, another error message appeared after the first error message as described above (“Something went wrong. The image could not be read or processed. Please delete image and try again.”). 

    The second error message read "Restart Required.  Your phone's settings or the SIM card have changed.  Restart your phone to complete the installation. " 

    I clicked on the button for the restart.

    The issue persisted.

    Hello,

    This issue might occur if you are working on mobile data, try to use WiFi and verify the result. If issue still persist, restart you phone and check if issue persist.
