OneDrive Login Problem

We currently have licenses for Office 365 ProPlus for Government in our County offices.  I have recently been installing the Office 365 software on the employees' work computers by signing into the Office portal.  (I always uninstall any version of Office from their computer before performing the new install.)  So far, everything has gone smooth except on one computer.  The Office software installs fine and the applications work, but when I set up the OneDrive folder on the computer, it wants me to sign in to their account, which is normal based on the the other installs I have performed.  On this particular computer, I enter the person's account name, and then click next.  The next screen is where I am supposed to enter the password, but the password field is blank and I am unable to click into it so that I can type in the password.  Being the administrator, I tried going into my administrative account and changing the person's password, but nothing changed.  Should I uninstall Office and reinstall?  If yes, do I deactivate the install on his computer first?

Thanks

    Hi,

I guess, you are trying to sign in to OneDrive for Business legacy client also known as groove.exe, which is installed with Office 365 package. I’ll suggest you install the latest client on the system. This sync client will sync your SharePoint document library along with your personal library i.e. OneDrive for Business documents.

Here as an articlewith the detailed steps, this article will guide you how to install the sync client and how to sync the files.

Let me know if you have any doubt.

    Thanks,

    Neha

    Hi Neha,

I am unable to click inside either box.  When I use the tab key, it does nothing on this screen.  By that, I mean it doesn't even move from one clickable item to the next like you normally see.  I am going to do a complete uninstall of the Office 365 since nothing seems to fix my problem.  I have performed a few more install on other computers and have not had this happen on any of them.

Thanks for helping try to figure this out.

I was finally able to try what was suggested and no luck.  Still exhibits the same issues described above.  I did notice that when I am signed into the Office portal, the user icon in the upper right corner has a small green question mark on it.  I don't know if that is new, but I doubt it is.  I probably just didn't notice it earlier.

Bottom line, still unable to sync OneDrive.

Thanks for the reply Neha.  It will be late Tuesday or Wednesday before I can try your suggestion.  I will post with the results, either way.
