Onenote App Title Issues

Question

I have Windows 10 and I have recently downloaded the Onenote app to my computer. And when ever i get to a seventh page in a section it continues to say untitled page on the page tab no matter how many times i rename the page. And this is ona a microsoft account that has administrator access. Not sure if that helps or not. Thanks.

I also had this problem, and I actually found a solution. It's not the best one, and at this point is up to Microsoft to make it really work, but I brought the issue to the attention of my teachers, and they pointed out the OneNote APP, not the desktop program, has a lot of problems, and if you are having problems in the OneNote App that is included by default in Windows 10, try opening your notebook in the desktop software, you may have to copy not synced notebooks or pages into the software, but after that, I have experienced no problems.

I hope this helps, this was a really frustrating thing to have to deal with.

To help resolve your concern, let's run the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) to scan the OneNote app on your Surface Book. Follow the instructions provided. A Solution and Description will be given in the report.

I'd like to revive this conversation. The same issue can be found all over the Microsoft forums, but I have not seen a response yet that addresses it.

Issue:

In my case, for one page in particular, the page title shows normally at the top of the page itself but the page tab on the left says "Untitled". No efforts to edit the page title on the right (including the rename option with right click on the tab) actually propagates the new title to the tab. The tab just always says "Untitled".

Affected software: One Note Win 10 app (the latest download from the Windows Store as of 10/27/16)

Using Win 10, same issue regardless of recent updates, on Surface Book

Note that the same notebook opended in One Note 2016 desktop version shows the correct page title on the tab, as does the online One Note version. Changing the page title in either of these apps does not propagate the change to One Note Win 10 app after synchronization.

I would like to know the version of the OneNote app.

OneNote app is a built in app with the windows 10 operating system I would like to confirm if you are using OneNote app for mobile or OneNote app for windows 10.
