OfficeClickToRun.exe Random Error.

Question

While using my computer - Microsoft Office is not open or being used - I receive an error popup at random.  The file path reporting the issue is:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\OfficeClickToRun.exe

The error states:

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

I cannot find any information online detailing why I might be receiving this error.
