OneNote keeps changing my page titles in the preview to "untitled page" even when I have content and a title on the page. I copy and pasted all the content on a new page and the title would be in the preview but as soon as I went to a different page it would default to "Untitled Page". I also tried copying it into a new notebook, but none of this has worked. I take lecture notes and need them to be organized for my tests and this is making it extremely difficult. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, PLEASE help!

    This does not work.

As Sara stated the page has content and a title but it still shows "Untitled page" in the tabs

As you can see the selected page has a title, but it does not show in the tab on the side.

    Can you please assist?

    Hi Sara,

Please follow these steps regarding the issue:

    • Type a title directly into the title area at the top of any notes page.

Note: Each page title also appears on its corresponding page tab. If you leave the title area blank, the first line of your notes automatically becomes the title of the page.

    • To change the title of a page, click its page tab, and then type a different title into the title area.

Please let us how it goes for us to assist you further
