Windows Office Licensing

Hi, 

I would like to check if there is any other way to check the license of Microsoft Office. I have run the command "cscript ospp.vbs" and i got the SKU ID and last 5 product key, are there any other ways to validate the authenticity of the license and when it was purchased?

Could i also find out what is REMAINING GRACE: 40 days  (57960 minute(s) before expiring)

    Thanks for the reply. I am trying to audit the licenses of these machines. I understand from a friend that even if it's shown licensed, it might not be the case. And i do not have the full product key to check for it. I am thinking what is the best way to validate this.

    For the avoidance of any doubt if the vendor provided you with a 25 Character Key Card, this is a Redemption Key. It is not Office Product Key. You can find the actual Product Key by logging in at your Office Account at:

    https://www.office.com/Myaccount  Click on 'Install from disc' then on  'I have a disk' (or any of the other options). You can then click on 'View your product key'

    May I also ask what does the Grace Period mean, and does that mean that the license has expired / invalid?

    No other means and no authenticity, other than entering a Key in the getoffice MS site

    Subscription status shown in the MS Account
