Deleting Cutover Migration

Hi,

I've Been running a Cutover migration using a specific owner which had the same user as one of the on-premises users, so i had to delete his account from Microsoft online and create a new admin user. now whenever I run the migration it says the owner is invalid, and there is no option to change the owner.

I tried to restore the deleted user and change his username to remove the conflict. (still waiting the results)

My question is: If I deleted the whole migration and created another one using the new admin, will it resume the syncing process? or it will remove everything and start over?

    Hi NATCOM-SA,

If you delete the whole migration batch and then create a new one, it will resume the syncing process. However, our suggestion is delete all migrated items in cloud and then start over the migration.

    Hello Larry,

Thanks for following up with me.

    1. The new added items were new incoming emails.
    2. It doesn't show if the mailbox is Synced or not in the Mailbox page, I'm checking them from the migration page. In Migration page some are Synced with total items number less than the actual number.

Also there are no skipped items.

I ran a power-shell command to get the mailbox items, and it showed a larger number of what shown int he migration page.

    Hi NATCOM-SA,

    Thanks for your update.

I’d like to confirm some points below to check whether it’s an expected behavior:

    1. Regarding “the number of synced items only shows the new added items”, what are the “new added items”? Are they new incoming emails or some other new items you have added to the mailbox?
    2. When you check it in the mailbox page, have all mailbox items been synced?

    Regards,

    Larry

Yes, I've tried to delete the migration and start a new one, its working fine now. The thing is the number of synced items only shows the new added items only! I have to go to mailbox page and check the exact items number. Is this how it suppose to work or am I missing something?
